Why does An Easy Tape matter?
An Easy Tape started on a Habitat for Humanity construction site with a 40 year construction veteran teaching underserved students.

For young adults who didn't fit a traditional educational path, a career in construction seemed a good step forward.
The creator of An Easy Tape couldn't stand to see promising futures blocked by that hardest to learn tool, the tape measure.

"It doesn't matter if you know how to use a
compound miter saw if you don't know where to cut."
How do you read An Easy Tape?
An Easy Tape markings are along the bottom.
-
16ths are yellow gaps
-
Halves, 4ths, 8ths are black hashmarks
-
32nds are edges of black hashmarks
Traditional markings still exist along the top.
